This range of general purpose trailers has been designed to offer maximum strength with a low unladen weight, combined with modern appearance and safe, stable towing characteristics. All models have a hot dipped galvanised steel chassis with 2mm thick pre-galvanised steel sides 300mm deep and an 18mm phenol coated non-slip plywood floor.
The independent rubber suspension axles have auto reversing brakes, operated by a cast steel hydraulic damped over run coupling with a power assisted hand brake and integral jockey wheel. Full road lights are fitted and the specially designed damage resistant mudguards are fitted with aluminium tred-plate ‘stand on’ tops on twin axle models.
All trailers are available with a range of optional equipment to suit many applications, including ramp tail doors and mesh extension sides, however extra equipment will increase the unladen weight and reduce the payload. It is important when selecting a trailer to check that the towing vehicle has an adequate towing capacity, and when used with a commercial vehicle, that the weights are within the permitted gross train weights shown on the vehicle plate.
We also manufacture a range of un-braked trailers, 5’ x 3’, 6’ x 4’, 8’ x 4’ and 8′ x 5′ up to a maximum gross weight of 750kg.
